Common Symptoms

Pelvic Pain

Dull, aching pain in the lower abdomen or pelvis. May be constant or come and go.

Bloating

Feeling of fullness, swelling, or pressure in the abdomen.

Abdominal Fullness

Sensation of heaviness or pressure in the pelvic area.

Pain During Intercourse

Discomfort or pain during sexual activity (dyspareunia).

Irregular Periods

Changes in menstrual cycle, including heavier or lighter bleeding.

Urinary Symptoms

Frequent urination or difficulty emptying the bladder completely.

Emergency Symptoms - Seek Immediate Care

Sudden, severe symptoms may indicate cyst rupture or ovarian torsion, which are medical emergencies.

Sudden Severe Pain

Intense, sharp pain in the lower abdomen that comes on suddenly. This could indicate rupture or torsion.

Pain with Fever

Pain accompanied by fever, nausea, or vomiting may indicate infection or serious complication.

Dizziness or Weakness

Feeling faint, dizzy, or unusually weak along with abdominal pain requires immediate attention.

Rapid Breathing

Fast or shallow breathing along with pain may indicate internal bleeding or shock.
